I remember Papa, Kayla and I would sneek frozen candy orange slices before dinner. Minga could never know though....it was one of those things that the 3 of us always did.
Waking up in the mornings over at Minga's and Papa's was always special. Kayla and I would always drink Papa's coffee because no one could ever make it right. Even as we got older, we would always sneek a sip or two. Oh and when Papa would want a sip of whatever it was that you were drinking, it was more of a gulp and we were always prepared to get more. For breakfast Papa made the best saussage gravy. That was what we always had.
